Goose Island report

Was down in that area today, here is the report.
1. Chicago Terminal Locomotive is gone from the North ave yard
2. Bridge over river still in open position.
3. tracks on goose island, and in Kingsbury show no sighs of use
4. All Finkl steel facilities are gone, just a large empty lot.
5. The small scrapper at Cortland and the river: gone
6. Elston Ave reroute is now open

Is the small scrapper you talk about marked as "Payless Appliance" on Google Maps?  Because I thought they were still in action.

So that confirms UP will take over switching Sipi Metals.  Makes sense. 

That Chicago Terminal operation collapsed so quickly.

I took the Metra on Monday and the Chicago Terminal Locomotive was in the North Ave yard, just not in its usual.  Place.
