Was wondering if MILW used any sml/med Alco switchers in C&E South areas?

Not that I have ever seen in photos.  Always EMD switchers in the diesel era on the C&E Line from what I have found in researching it.  I\'ve seen photos of SWs, MP15s, GP9s, etc., but not Alcos.

Thanks, I kinda got that feeling from all the pics I\'ve seem too.
Guess I\'ll have to ressurect my old MLW Athern DC bluebox GP9
and see about a DCC decoder and a new can motor...  hmmm

I model the C&E Line in two sections north of Diversey to Waveland in N-scale and considered one of those N-scale Milwaukee Road Baldwin VO switchers but was told that the Milwaukee Road did not use them on this trackage either by someone who worked the lines from the 1950s into the 1970s.

I run a pair of SWs and a GP-9 in Milwaukee Road markings though my layouts are more like dioramas.

The book \"The Milwaukee Road in Color: Volume 1 The East End\" shows a picture of a transfer run to the Division Street Yard on Goose Island from the Galewood.  At the head end are a pair of GP9s.  Potentially other locomotives could have been used in transfer run service.

The same book shows plenty of Alco RS1s in downtown Chicago-but they are used to move coaches around between Union Station and the Western Avenue shops and related duties.
