Did anybody else notice that the spur for Chicago Transparent Products seems to be gone? I was looking on Google Earth, and I don\'t know if they\'re still in business but I definitely didn\'t see any track in the photo.

There is a residential developmet in the area now. I know the spur was gone as of last year along with the building. I saw it from ground level last summer. I was on site.

Those photos from Tom Burke were taken weeks before they removed the spur. So they been gone since early \'03.

Cway,
here is a link to google maps showing where this spur was located:

The spur ran through the middle of that parking lot, or rather the parking lot was probably built around the track.

Thanks for the update.
I didn\'t notice it before, but if you look at Peerless in that image, the CP switcher is actually on the plant spur when the photo was taken.
