Mike's newly found pics of Wallace Press made me search for more and I found a nice collection of Chicago stuff on flickr.  Haven't found actual train pics but the first page has lots of Goose Island and Kingsbury images that show trackage.  Also check out the great '68 pic of the Hancock under construction.

Was looking for some actual railroad cars on the above posted link.
I see that TribuneFreightFanatic already posted the Rock Island gondola on the Navy Pier line.  Here are some others:

In the background in one of the shots you can see the superstructure of the old C&E swing bridge to Union Station.   The street in the foreground the cuts of cars are severed for no longer exists.

Good catch.

There's an interesting MOW (?) car made from a former wooden boxcar in the background also.  That was the Hubbard Street Yard of the C&NW.  Another view can be seen at the link below.  Hard to believe it mostly gone now.
