The last picture gives younger visitors to this site a glimpse of the infamous \"S-Curve\" on Lake Shore Drive which was straightened out in the 1980s.

I\'ve just noticed this building in recent photos I\'ve seen.  Does anyone know what the building is on the right side in this photo with the huge tower?

Thanks,

it should be 666 N. Lake Shore Drv.
it\'s still there, now with
mixed-use office/residential/retail
with parking on the lower levels

Yes, it was indeed 666 N. LSD, is now 680 N. LSD. I worked in the building for a few years. Playboy occupies the top couple floors; I\'d often see Christie Hefner in the elevator.  It\'s quite the survivor. There\'s a story about a zeppelin docking to the tower on its west side long ago.. not sure about that one.  :)
