Check out the picks of this awsome paint job.  If it isn\'t going to be Milwaukee Road colors it might as well be this:

I like it!  Can\'t wait to see it in action!  I drove by Peerless about 1pm, and it didn\'t look like any moves took place there today.

Thanks for the compliment on the pictures.  More to come as time permits.

The Chicago Terminal Railroad follows the same schedule as the CP Rail crews, with crews starting work on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, completing operations by late afternoon typically before heading back to the North Avenue Yard.

The number of empties and full loads for each industry determine in which order the industries will be services.  Cars are blocked in whatever is the most logical sequence that day to minimize doubling back or extra switching.  There is no set schedule otherwise.

I tried following them for a bit yesterday,  But I didn\'t have time to get any shots.  Seemed like they were waiting for the bridge for about an hour!!  All they had was a hopper so I assume they were going to Peerless.  The athletic club had their \"Train Day\" sign out as well, with about 20 cars blocking the tracks!!

This was the first time I tried to photograph this operation.  The whole line is just very intriguing.  I really wanted to see how they got through the scrap yard! Can\'t wait till I have more time to follow them for a day.  Thanks for all the info.

Can\'t wait to see them!

Has anyone figured out what frequency they are using?
