looking SE down Kingsbury on a brisk, OK, frigid, morning in February 2004. The remains of various spurs to long-gone industores are clearly evident.
NE view down Kingsburt a few blocks south of North Avenue. Spur on left ran to zinc company and was last customer on this section of Kingsbury. Service south of North Avneue ended mid-1990s.
Scratched pavement in between rails shows where a derailment once occurred.
Spur remnant branching off to the leftinto trees behind stop sign led to an industrial site seen in next several photos.

Tom Burke was unaware of this relic until I brought him here.
Despite the snow here we could discern a second spur branching off from the main spurin this lot. Obviously a the area has seen subsequent construction so some historical research is in order to determine the farthest extent of this spur network.
Looking west across N. Dayton.
