Does anyone know when the UP typically has been running (if typically) switching operations South out of the North Ave yard toward Bloomer?

Not sure if it is set days, but I have seen them switching Blommer in the morning from my passing metra train.  Usually about 8:30am.

I\'ve also seen them switching the upper level of Blommer around 11:30AM on weekdays.

That sounds about right- the low portion of Blommer is served by the YNO68 job from North Avenue (which also does the Tribune) and the high portion is served by the YCM83 out of the California Avenue/Kedzie yard.
