Friday night on Goose Island

Tonight I spotted two lumber cars (don\'t know the official term for them) on N. Cherry Ave. by Big Bay Lumber.  The southernmost car was empty with wires still laying on the street, the northernmost car was full and ready to be unloaded.  There were also 4 gondolas at Finkl Steel.

They were probably bulkhead flatcars that were outside Big Bay.  Boxcars are also used but they are better known.
