While looking for (of course) something else, came across this web site that has old films (prior to 1970).
Here is what I found so far:
Goose Island:

Good catch. I wonder if the aerial view was taken from a blimp?
That is some dramatic footage of the fire on Goose Island. It seems like big industrial fires were more commonplace back in the old days.
