If anybody is planning on these in n scale, I know that they would be big sellers.

Tom,
You can get the 40ft and 50ft Rib Side Boxcars and Rib Side Caboose, now for JnJ trains in resin, nice models. http://www.jnjtrains.com/
I think you could even carefully cut the Ribs back on the 40ft Box, and build a short rib 40 footer. Puget Sound Models, also made the 40ft Box in resin, several years back in N Scale.

I emailed George, at Rib Side cars, and this is a quote from the email.
\"If my money and health hold out, I plan on doing cabeese, 50s
and short rib 40s, but not necessarly in that order.\"

Lets hope the Best for Rib Side Cars, we could see a lot of goodies.
Send George a email, maybe he has plans for N Scale in the future, I don\'t know either way.

Personally I would like to see the Riveted Side Cabooses as well as a kit for the Transfer Cabooses.

I will be sending a order for my 1st 40ft Boxcar from Rib Side Cars tommorow, I\'ll review it when I get it.

I just moved this topic to the modeling forum.

I know of the jnj cars.  They get nice reviews, but a little too pricy at around $25 per kit, without trucks or decals.  I\'m hoping Micro-Trains comes out with both 40 and 50  footers, in the $12 price range.
