General Discussion / Mystery C&NW North Line Siding

I'm working on an update to the North Line 1988 project and am hoping to tap your knowledge again.
When I was a kid I noticed sidings coming off the C&NW on the train ride into town. One I clearly remember came off the North Line about at the point where the line down to the Tribune Plant, etc. came up and merged. The point I am talking about is at about 5:07 in this video:

It came off the east side of the right of way and went down to ground level and then hung about a 90 degree turn and ran onto the property of some industry at ground level.
By the time I remember seeing it in the 80's the track was disconnected and the spur on ground level was visible but covered with mud, although the industry was still active in some fashion.
Anyone out there who knows what industry that siding served?
