Title: Blommer Switching

I was a couple of blocks away and couldn't get close, but the UP was pulling the tank cars out of Blommer this morning.

All tank cars are on lower level. Upper level gets hoppers.
The lower level used to get hoppers and boxcars too.

Here's a pair of boxcars on the lower level Blommer spur in 1990.  They received cocoa beans in burlap bags by boxcar back then.

Do we know when boxcars were last delivered? I remember seeing them in 2001 for sure.
