The web site is mentioned in the document.

There are numerous details about the CTM and it\'s operation are in the document (including Goose Island). There is history including a copy of the CMST&P/Soo in bankruptcy court.

While admittedly not having read all the legal PDFs .. I have to wonder, why does CTM desire to maintain what\'s left of Lakewood, in a business sense?  Do they truly believe there\'s an opportunity for freight customers where none currently exist?  Don\'t get me wrong, like all of us (I would assume :) I\'d hate to see any track ripped up, but I don\'t get it.  Isn\'t this expensive both with regard to the legal fees and the unused-track upkeep?

Perhaps they\'re worried about legal precedents being created for other, future legal battles?

Looks like the CTR kinda put their foot in their mouth!
I too, do not want to see these historic lines pulled up, but agree, why are they fighting this?
I think they should just fill up every possible inch of these branches with car storage, just to tick the city off...
