Hello,

I might be able to make it to Chicago next week.  If anybody has any clue when the Chicago Terminal will be running I'd appreciate it.  Any other people to contact would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Recently saw that Amtrak's lake tower is coming (or has come?) down.  It's part of a plan to develop the area.  The cover from the Chicago Switching book will never be the same:

Hi,

Heard this on Illinirail group: "And the UP signal folks tell me CY is next. Those operators (CY controls
Mayfair, CY and Deval at CY tower with one operator controlling CY and
Mayfair) will locate to Proviso and I'm told it's a matter of time
before they go to Omaha. God bless us all trying to get trains across
there when the operators go to Omaha."

If nothing else it's motivation to get pictures!

Just thought I\'d toss out an request for more you tube videos of the Chicago Terminal Railroad. Perhaps I\'m going through withdrawal since this is my first summer NOT getting into the city.  All I know is that the only video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpCGui_wM4g) is approaching 7000 hits.  With the popularity of that particular video I think it\'s safe to assume that others would appreciating you sharing too.
