Title: Kingsbury, Goose Island Connection to Hobbie St.
Post by: RPSmith on April 08, 2005, 02:17:03 AM
I need to info, industries, and trackage for the Kingsbury Branch from the Goose Island Connection south, to Hobbie St (1966, or as close as I can get). There used to be some computer generated look down, trackage maps of various areas on this web page. I don\'t know if there was one for what I am looking for here, but it sure would help if there is.

Still trying to figure a HO track plan I can live with for the 2 bedrooms I have for right of way to start with.

RP:

Maps are available on the website at:

Another good place to start is with the April 1975 issue of Model Railroader magazine which includes detailed track diagrams of the southern end of the line.  Another source of detailed maps of the former C&E line of the Milwaukee Road would be The Milwaukee Railroader magazine\'s Third Quarter 1995 issue.

I\'ve found that hobby shops often sell backissues of these magazines or you can put an ad in a current issue of The Milwaukee Railroader to try to purchase this issue.
