Been looking for pictures in various archives and historical sites of the old freight house at the \"end\" of the Kingsbury line at Kinzie. All the photos I have are aerial from the MRHA books, and the Sanborn map info indicates 2 stories, but I have not run across any views of the front/back/sides for modeling. Any help? Would not want to just make a generic brick bldg if there was some interesting architectural details or style or ornimentation.

Just came across this map on line that details the swing bridges in the area.

Ted Schnepf has copies of photos of that old freight station-and pretty much any other Milwaukee Road structure on the C&E/Deering Line available for purchase at a modest cost.

His "store" is his garage in suburban Elgin. Well worth the drive. You can get lost going through the cool photos. Some of my articles used his photos.
